12:15pm Voices Without Borders Choir members arrive at Petoskey High School (PHS) Choir
room.
12:30pm – 3:00pm VWB Choir members rehearse with Oscar Escalada at PHS.
3:00pm LTYC/VWB Singers will be taken from the High School by parents to St. Francis Church for a
rehearsal.
3:30pm All LTYC singers and Iowa YC members arrive at the St. Francis Church to rehearse for the
evening joint concert.
4:30PM Finish rehearsal. Families pick up all Iowa and LTYC singers and take home for dinner.
7:00pm Iowa YC and LTYC singers arrive at church to get ready for the concert. Please wear the
formal choir outfits.
7:30pm Joint Concert LTYC with Iowa Youth Chorale at St Francis Church. FREE and open to the
community. Good will offering accepted to support the festival.
8:45pm Pick up LTYC choir members and guests and take home for the night.
Thursday, July 14, 2011
10:15am VWB Choir members arrive at Petoskey High School to get ready for the rehearsal. Wear
Festival T-shirt.
10:30 am–1:00pm VWB Choir members rehearse at Petoskey High School.
1:00pm VWB Choir members have lunch at the high school hosted by the Little Traverse Youth
Choir, Parent Group, and Jean and Shane Brown.
2:00-4:00pm All LTYC Choir members rehearsal with other choirs for the Festival Choir
Concert at Petoskey High School.
4:00pm Pick up LTYC and VWB Choir members and take home for dinner.
7:00pm All choir members should be at Petoskey High School dressed in their formal outfits for the
concert.
7:30pm All Choir members perform in the Festival’s Choir Day Concert at PHS. This is a ticketed
event. One free ticket to each host family. Additional host family tickets are $5. Non-host
family adult tickets are $10 and students through high school are $5.
9:00pm Families pick-up their own children and guests at the end of the concert to
return home for the night.
Friday, July 15, 2011 –
8:45am VWB choir members arrive at Crooked Tree Arts Center (461 E. Mitchell St. Petoskey, MI
49770). LTYC wear their new orange choir T-shirts. Bring a sack lunch.
9:00am - 10:15am VWB Choir members rehearse at a Crooked Tree Arts Center.
10:30am – 11:30am All festival participants including LTYC members rehearse “Let There be Peace
on Earth“ at Crooked Tree Arts Center. Bring sack lunch. Please be on time.
11:30am All festival groups will walk to Pennsylvania Park in downtown Petoskey to perform and
watch other groups. LTYC performs at approximately 1:10pm. Groups will eat the sack lunch at
a time designated by Mrs. Marvin.
3:15pm At the conclusion of the Concerts in the Park performance, parents pick up choir
members and guests at the park and take them home for dinner.
7:00pm VWB Choir members only return to the Crooked Tree Arts Center to get ready for the
Concert wearing formal outfits.
7:30pm VWB Choir, the Chorknaben Boy Choir and selected ensembles present a Concert at
Crooked Tree Arts Center. This is a ticketed event. One free ticket to each host family.

9:00pm Families pick-up their children and guests at the end of the concert to return home for
the night.
Saturday, July 16, 2011 –
9:45am All LTYC members to be dropped off by parents at John M. Hall Auditorium (1715,
Encampment Avenue, Petoskey, MI 49770) at Bay View. Please send a snack. (fruit, cookie and
water, etc.) Wear the LTYC polo shirt. All singers and dancers should be ready for a full rehearsal for the Gala Concert.
10:00am – 1:00pm All performers will rehearse for the Festival Gala Concert at John M. Hall
Auditorium in Bay View.
1:00 pm. Pick up all members at Bay View after rehearsal.
6:45pm All choir members should be at Bay View dressed in formal outfit for the Festival Gala
Concert.
7:30pm Festival Gala Concert at John M. Hall Auditorium in Bay View, featuring all festival groups.
This is a ticketed event. Each host family will receive two free tickets to this concert. Additional
tickets: Adults $15, students through high school $5.
9:30pm Pick up LTYC members at the end of the concert to return home for the night.

LTYC families who are hosting visiting choir members take them to the appropriate place for pick-
up. A special thanks to those of you who hosted visitors from other countries.
