The June 15, 2020 performance at Carnegie Hall was unfortunately cancelled due to the novel coronavirus. We are very grateful for all who were helping to make this dream come true and know you share our disappointment. As we look toward brighter days ahead, we continue to work toward providing exciting opportunities for the youth of Northern Michigan and around the world.

The 2019-20 seasons will bring many exciting opportunities for Voices Without Borders' Little Traverse Youth Choir, culminating in a trip to New York City and a performance in Carnegie Hall in June, 2020! We wanted to send out introductory information regarding the tour to help you plan for the upcoming year. Our new season begins September 12! Trip confirmations are needed by September 27.
Mid-America Productions, now in its 37th season, will produce and present our full concert residency package. The full concert residency package includes hotel accommodations (5 days/4 nights), transportation within Manhattan where necessary for rehearsals, concert and post-concert celebration cruise aboard Spirit Cruises to and around the Statue of Liberty and much more. The hotel will be within walking distance of Carnegie Hall and sights like Times Square & BroadwayRockefeller CenterMacy'sMuseum of Modern Art, and the Empire State Building.
Each singer will be responsible for $1,600 which is non-refundable. The total expense for each trip is $2,400. Voices Without Borders' Board of Directors will help LTYC with the remaining fundraising. We have a number of fundraisers planned for singers to raise needed funds including Adopt a Star letters and the holiday greenery fundraiser. See the trip payment schedule below. We will be able to provide a better estimate of some breakfasts that might be included once our hotels are booked, but most meals will be the responsibility of the individual.
