Ooh La La! The Little Traverse Youth Choir (LTYC) has hosted three
Fancy Nancy Tea Parties at Stafford’s Bay View Inn where posh guests toasted
all things fancy; especially Jane O'Connor's delightful children's book
character, Fancy Nancy! Imagine sipping from a beautiful antique teacup while you nibble
on Stafford’s delectable (that's fancy for delicious) assortment of tea
sandwiches and desserts and Kilwins chocolates. Guests enjoyed music, a delightful reading
of Jane O’Connor’s Fancy Nancy: Saturday
Night Sleepover, a special photo to bring home, a raffle and silent
auction, an area to browse books, and an opportunity to purchase one’s own teacup.
Proceeds from the Fancy Nancy Tea Party have provided much needed support for Voices
Without Borders’ mission of celebrating the boundary-breaking joy of music with
its young singers from throughout Northern Michigan. Voices
Without Borders is a 501c3.
A very warm thank-you to the following for their generous support of this
event: Amy Pines Design, A. R. Pontius Flower Shop of Harbor Springs,
Chemical Bank, Cherryland Antique Mall & Consignment Center of Traverse
City, City Antiques Resale Boutique of Grand Rapids, Harper-Collins Publishing,
Victoria Kaan, Kilwins Petoskey, McLean & Eakin Booksellers of Petoskey, and
Stafford's Hospitality!
